Photographers The Masters Cup, an international award for color photography is now accepting entries for its 5th annual award.
Deadline: October 15, 2010

Call to Artists The Cambridge Art Association’s prospectus for the exhibition Blue is now available. Open to painting, photography, 3-D work, mixed media (including fabric art), print, drawing or pen and ink. The exhibition, presented in two galleries (Kathryn Schultz, 25 Lowell Street, Cambridge and University Place in Harvard Square) will be juried by Cambridge Art Association‘s Amy Ford and Susan Vrotsos.

Filmmakers Images Festival in Toronto, Canada is now accepting submissions for consideration for their 24th festival, March 31-April 9, 2010. The festival is a showcase for the innovative edge of international contemporary media art. Screening fees are paid for all exhibited works. Learn more.

Call to Cape Cod Artists The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, together with the Cotuit Center for the Arts, announces the fifth year of their collaborative Winter exhibit SO BIG! from January 8 – February 12, 2011.  All mediums are accepted and final acceptance will be determined by a panel of jurors. Photographers Joy Wai Gallery, a new gallery in Chelsea, NY, is accepting submissions for their inaugural exhibition Whose Self-Portrait? The Subject Behind the Camera, scheduled for December 16, 2010-January 31, 2011. Learn more.

Artists Seeking Residencies The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in Troy, NY encourages applications for residencies to work on a wide range of projects, from a diversity of artists, composers, directors, choreographers, and performers of different cultural and geographic backgrounds. EMPAC is open to proposals from all phases of a project, from initial concept to full production. They offer open call residencies, as well as four focused intitiatives: Audio Production/Post-Production; Creative Research; Dance/Theater; Video Production/Post-Production. More information and guidelines for applying.
Deadline: Quarterly proposals reviews; October 15, January 14, April 15, and July 15.
