A Note from CERF+ regarding Hurricane Helene Response to our friends and families in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia
CERF+ has received dozens of emergency relief grant applications from craft artists in states affected by Hurricane Helene, including Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. CERF+ understands that many of these craft artists are grappling with severe challenges, such as significant damage to their homes or studios, loss of essential tools and equipment, and major disruptions to their ability to continue their craft practice, and our hearts go out to them. Many of the hardest hit areas were completely cut off from washed out roads, loss of power/water, and loss of internet/cellular service. When they are ready, craft artists who were affected are encouraged to reach out at info@cerfplus.org
