Call for Artists Post Office Gallery in North Truro Village, MA invites artists to submit work for consideration in a themed, group exhibition that focuses on what defines old Cape Cod. The exhibit will run from August 31 to September 21. All artists (2 and 3 dimensional) are invited to submit up to three HD images of their work for consideration. Artists will be notified if accepted by August 19. Drop off is August 25. Call to Artists The Davis Art Gallery in Worcester is calling for drawings, as well as mixed media and collage works that include drawing, for their next show Drawing. Artist-in-Residence The Umbrella Community Arts Center in Concord is now accepting submissions for their new Artist-in-Residence program for the 2014-2015 season. Artists of all media in the first five years of their career who are not enrolled full-time in an academic program are eligible to apply. The artist-in-residence will be awarded a 132 square foot studio with a shared lobby space, and will have the opportunity to live rent-free in a single bedroom cottage within walking distance of The Umbrella.
