Cross Sector Resource: Health Insurance Webinar The Massachusetts Health Connector is offering a free webinar on December 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Join their free webinar to help you understand eligibility changes, 2026 health plan options, coverage details, key dates, and more.

Artist Residency The Emmanuel College Art Department offers a six-week artist residency to four artists each summer. The residency supports a diverse group of artists, providing uninterrupted time and space for established and emerging artists to develop their work.  Learn more.

Call to Artists The Newton Free Library is currently accepting art applications for exhibits July – December 2026. They welcome applications from New England artists showing two-dimensional works that are compatible with the Walker Display system. They encourage artists from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences to apply. Applications are fee-free. They do not take commissions. Shows are mounted for a full month. Upwards of 10,000 patrons visit us each week. Learn more.

Community Health Musician Certificate Program The Community Health Musician Certificate is a training that empowers musicians, educators, and leaders from all backgrounds to advance community well-being. Developed by BMHI, and offered this year in partnership with Berklee NYC and Chamber Music America, this hybrid program bridges artistry and public health, training musicians to design and lead inclusive, music-based programs that support connection, creativity, and community resilience. Program cost is $1,500.00. Flexible payment plans and some need-based scholarships are available. Learn more.

Call to Artists The Cape Cod Museum of Art is accepting entries for their 2026 international juried exhibition, VISUAL VOICE: Freedom to Create.  All interpretations on the theme will be reviewed by architect, exhibition designer, and curator, David Henry Perry. Three prizes will be awarded by the juror: $500, $200, $100. Fee to enter is $25.00 for each application/artwork entry, with one artwork per application and up to five applications/artworks per artist. Learn more.

Student Films for New Festival For the first time, Guerilla Opera will feature student films as part of the Guerilla Underground, the annual virtual experimental opera festival (March 27-29, 2026 premiere; streaming on demand through April 30). Eligible works: films and videos of graduate thesis, dissertation opera composition projects, and capstone projects. Acceptable formats: HD multi-camera recordings of live performances, semi-staged concerts, or concert readings; Operas (short pieces, scene[s], excerpts from longer works), songs, song cycles,  or any other works featuring voice(s) interpreted through the cinematic mediums of film, video, animation or any combination thereof; Visual albums (a series of videos or a single film serving as a visual vehicle for a studio album with multiple tracks). Entry fees range from $15-$40. Learn more.

Folger Institute Artistic Research Fellowships The Folger Institute’s Artistic Research Fellowships are open to all artists whose work would benefit from significant primary research related to the histories, concepts, art, and objects of the early modern world (ca. 1400—1800) and its legacies. Artistic applicants are not required to hold a formal degree, but should describe their training and level of industry-specific experience in their CV. Learn more.

Printmakers Entries are currently being accepted for the Boston Printmakers 2026 North American Print Biennial (September 8 – November 21, 2026). Presenting the best in contemporary and traditional printmaking, the North American Print Biennial has long been recognized as one of the most prestigious events in printmaking. Founded in 1947, the mission of the Boston Printmakers is to promote public knowledge of printmaking, encourage and support artists working in printmaking, and promote excellence and innovation within the field of printmaking. This year’s juror is Esther Adler, Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Modern Art. Entry Fee: $35 USD for members of the Boston Printmakers with coupon code (sent after receipt of 2025 or 2026 membership dues); $50 USD for non-members. The non-refundable entry fee entitles the artist to submit up to 3 works. Learn more.

Craft Artists The Craft Emergency Relief Fund is accepting applications for its Emergency Relief Grant. Deadline: Rolling.

Visual Artists The Pollock-Krasner Foundation is accepting applications for the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant for visual art. Deadline: Rolling.
