Playwriting Fellows Program (Boston area only) Applications for The Huntington Theater Company’s Huntington Playwriting Fellows program are currently being accepted. Fellows are awarded two-year residencies during which they receive a modest honorarium from the theatre, participate in a writers collective with the artistic staff, attend Huntington productions and events, and are eligible for readings and support through the Breaking Ground reading series and the HPF Summer Workshop series. Glass Artists UrbanGlass in Brooklyn, NY is currently accepting applications for Visiting Artist Fellowship. An incredible opportunity for artists to experiment with glass in our state-of-the-art facility, the Fellowship includes technical support, private studio space, and a $1,500 honorarium. Applicants need not have any prior experience working with glass, just an interest in exploring the possibilities of the medium in their work. Learn more.

Artists and Writers Residency Fellowships The Vermont Studio Center is currently accepting applications for fellowship residencies. They are offering 43 different fellowships for artists and writers. Learn more.
Deadline: February 15, 2014

Photographers Entries are now being accepted for The Center for Fine Art Photography’s Black & White exhibition. All Black and White imagery is eligible for submission including alternative process, traditional, digital, toned black and white images, and all post-production techniques. All subject matter is accepted. The juror is Jason Landry. Learn more.
Deadline: February 26, 2014

Call for Proposals The apexart Franchise Program open call will accept proposals for idea-based, group exhibitions. Three winning proposals will receive funding and administrative support from apexart to present their show in any location outside of New York City. Learn more.
Deadline: Proposals accepted: February 15 – March 15, 2014.
