Call for Art Entries are now being accepted for the Open Call NNE (North-Northeast), a juried exhibition organized by the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) that showcases established, mid-career, and emerging artists working in all media. Learn more.

Call for Artists The Town of Barnstable is accepting applications for artists and artisans whose primary residence is Cape Cod, for participation in the 2015 Hyannis HyArts Artist Shanty program. The shanties are located in the Hyannis HyArts Cultural District, at Bismore Park/Ocean Street, Hyannis. Artists will be juried and first selections made by Friday, December 19 based on applications received. Subsequent applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis following this date for any remaining spots for the 2015 season and will be filled based on need and availability. Playwrights, Directors, Composers, Librettists Applications are now being accepted for the Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, a 3-week play development retreat that provides a private creative environment for playwrights, directors, composers, and librettists to develop new work with the support of dramaturges and full casts. Applications welcomed for projects at any stage of development from playwrights, directors, composers, ensembles, performance artists, and choreographers. Learn more.

South Asian Filmmakers The New York Indian Film Festival is seeking works by veteran as well as emerging South Asian filmmakers in the following categories: Feature (over 40 minutes), Short (under 40 minutes), Documentary (over 40 minutes), and Short Documentary (under 40 minutes). Learn more.

Call for Art Entries are now being accepted by Gallery 263 in Cambridge for Chroma, a national juried exhibition of work on hue, saturation and value. Selected by: Lynda Schlosberg (Boston-based artist, Kingston Gallery).  Work must be created within the last 5 years and complete. Call For Art The Brookline Arts Center invites student jewelry and metalsmithing artists to submit work that demonstrates the relationship between heritage and innovation. Grant for Cape Cod Artist Applications are now being accepted for the Art Within Reach Grant Sponsored by Cape Cod Art Association. Grant provided to an individual artist living on Cape Cod with a recognized artistic excellence in Fine Art media and a demonstrated commitment to their art; painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography or mixed media (Film does not qualify). Unrestricted funds applied toward any expense to enhance the artist’s ability to create work. Learn more.

Playwrights Entries are now being accepted for the Clauder Grand Prize; a $2,500 cash award, and a workshop production followed by a full production at Portland Stage during the 2016-17 season. Plays must be full-length and be original works, not an adaptation or translation.

Public Art Registry The Cambridge Arts Council encourages artists to add samples of their work and biographic information to their Public Art Registry. Once registered, artists are considered for all future Cambridge public art commissions.
