Tulsa Artist Fellowship Tulsa Artist Fellowship designates 10 new fellows from an open call process who will receive $150,000 over three award years in addition to a $12,000 yearly housing stipend, $1,200 yearly health stipend, $1,200 yearly studio assistant stipend, $1,500 relocation stipend, fully-subsidized studio spaces, and access to shared art-making facilities. The program is integrated into a vibrant cultural district with galleries and performance venues, green space, independent retailers, and restaurants. Tulsa Artist Fellowship recognizes that groundbreaking art practices thrive within an intention-setting framework. Awardees commit to actualizing a project during the three-year program term. Cambridge Sidewalk Poetry Contest The City of Cambridge is seeking poems for its 2023 Sidewalk Poetry Contest. Five winning poems will be imprinted into the fresh concrete of new sidewalks around the city beginning this fall. Winners will also each receive a $100 prize. Cambridge residents of any age are invited to submit one poem of their own work to the City’s eighth annual Sidewalk Poetry Contest. It’s free to submit a poem. City of Cambridge employees, staff, or appointed or elected members of city councils, boards, or commissions, are not eligible to apply. Applicants are allowed to submit poems in any language. Call to Artists Art Fluent invites artists to submit artwork their online exhibit, Brilliance. Over $1,200 in cash prizes. Call for Artists The New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA) invites you to enter the 37th Annual Omer T. Lassonde Open Juried Exhibition. Located at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in downtown Portsmouth, NH, this exhibit is one of NHAA’s most prestigious exhibits of the year with over $2000 awarded in prizes. It is held annually in honor of Omer T. Lassonde, acclaimed painter and founding member of the NHAA. The juror is Theresa Choi, assistant curator at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art. Emerging Writer Fellowship Applications are open for the 2023-2024 GrubStreet Emerging Writer Fellowship. The Emerging Writer Fellowship aims to develop new, exciting voices by providing three writers per year tuition-free access to GrubStreet’s classes and Muse & the Marketplace conference series. Over the course of one year, each Emerging Writer Fellow will attend a combination of seminars and multi-week courses of their choosing, along with a wide selection of Muse & The Marketplace programming, in order to enhance their understanding of craft and the publishing industry. Visual Arts and Film Open Call The 2024 Creative Capital “Wild Futures: Art, Culture, Impact” grant cycle invites project proposals for the Visual Arts, Film/Moving Image, Multidisciplinary, and Socially Engaged forms. Creative Capital has simplified the grant application process from 40 to 6 questions in Round I. The 2024 grant application opens March 1, 2023.
