Call For Cape-based Artists and Artisans Applications are being accepted for the 2019 Artist Cottages at the Orleans Market Square, a charming and popular sales and studio venue located in Orleans on Cape Cod, in a park-like, art filled setting in the Village center. They are seeking artists and artisans inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod and it’s arts traditions. Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Season as they have a few slots still available. Weekends during the spring and fall shoulder seasons as well as week(s)s in the summer. They are seeking high quality work in all media. All work must be hand made or hand crafted. Latino Playwriting Award Entries are currently being accepted for the Arizona Theatre Company’s 2018 National Latino Playwriting Award. Latino playwrights residing in the United States, its territories or Mexico are encouraged to submit scripts for the award. Each script will be read and evaluated by a culturally diverse panel of theatre artists; finalists will be judged by ATC artistic staff. Call for Artwork Entries are being accepted for the exhibition Gray Area, juried by a committee of six Kingston Gallery artists: Mira Cantor, Susan Emmerson, Julie S Graham, Veronica A Pérez, Jamal Thorne, and Chantal Zakari. In such a time of great uncertainty there is a growing feeling of unease; we reside in the spaces between a world of absolutes. The collection of work in Gray Area addresses a range of situations not readily conforming to an existing set of rules. As the color gray encompasses a multitude of mutable tonalities, both coloristically and metaphorically, the show will offer some creative clarity. Learn more.
