Art Engaging with Science Artists whose work engages with science, as subject, method, or material are invited to submit work to the juried exhibition Left Brain, Right Brain. Accepted work will be exhibited at the Shelley Hoon Keith Quiet Study Lounge Gallery at Curry College in Milton from January 30, 2023, through March 3, 2023. All artworks in 2D and 3D media are welcome and submissions by artists producing digitally fabricated work are encouraged. 2D work must be framed and ready to hang. No fee to enter up to three works. Call to Artists The Cotuit Center for the Arts has announced a call for their exhibition Winter Art 2023: Book Marks, Art Inspired by Literature. Grant to Support Veterans and Members of the Military with Art Programs The NEA’s Creative Forces Community Engagement grants supporting community nonclinical arts programs for veterans, military, as well as their family, and caregivers. Call to Artists The Artist Project is a collaboration between the Museum of Fine Arts and 12 after-school community organizations in the Boston area. The artist and the children create a collaborative work of art inspired by the Museum’s collection, which is then exhibited at the MFA. Call to Artists Applications are open for the SculptureNow Exhibition 2023 (June 1st – October 21st, 2023) at The Mount in Lenox, MA. The Mount was Edith Wharton’s Home and is a National Historic Landmark and cultural center dedicated to the intellectual, artistic, and humanitarian legacy of author Edith Wharton. Existing and/or new sculptures may be proposed for consideration. Innovative and interactive works are encouraged. There is no exhibition theme and no application fee. Up to 25 sculptures may be selected for the show. The exhibition will include both invited and juried sculptors. Call to Artists New Bedford’s Seaport ArtWalk has announced a call to artists. Artists may receive up to $2,500 per sculpture or mural to create new outdoor temporary public artwork.
