Playwrights Company One Theatre is accepting applications for its two-year PlayLab Pao Fellowship. The Fellowship pairs a Boston-area playwright of Asian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander heritage (as defined by the applicant) with Company One, the Pao Arts Center, and the residents of Chinatown to create a new work that is reflective of, and responsive to, the pressing issues faced by the Chinatown community. Call to Artists The Nave Gallery, in partnership with the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church, invites artists to participate in the curated exhibition Crossing the Line: Refugees in Search of Sanctuary. The juror is Gabriel Sosa. This call asks artists to share work created in response to today’s global refugee and immigrant crises. Call for Project Proposals The Goethe-Institut Boston is looking for proposals for its Studio 170 “open space” project. The goal is to counter the lack of affordable space in the Boston area for artists and creative minds.
