Crafts Artists Entries are being accepted for the 84th Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft, one of the oldest juried exhibitions in New England. This annual summer tradition at the Fitchburg Art Museum strives to discover, encourage, and celebrate the artists and crafters. The Regional Exhibition provides artists with a museum environment to exhibit their artwork and opportunities to connect with fellow artists, patrons, and enthusiasts. Short Fiction A prize of $1,000 and publication by University of Georgia Press is given annually for a collection of short fiction. Roxane Gay will judge. Public Art Murals The Mosesian Center for the Arts seeks proposals for a public mural display in Chestnut Hill and Westwood. New England Development, the managers of several outdoor retail developments are seeking artists to install temporary murals in two of their outdoor retail locations – Chestnut Hill Square in Chestnut Hill, MA and University Station in Westwood, MA. Acceptable mediums includes paint, vinyl, and digital media. Artists will receive a $500 stipend and will have all materials covered to complete the project. Murals will be installed between June 15 and June 30, 2019. Learn more.
