Latinx Artists Grant The application for the 2024 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) grant program is now open. Latinx artists and organizations of all disciplines based in the U.S. and Puerto Rico may apply for a $10,000 NFA grant award. Grant for Emerging and Mid-Career Artists The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried award to recognize outstanding practice by emerging and mid-career artists working in any media. The 2023 honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant and studio visits with each of this year’s distinguished jurors. In addition, the honoree and three shortlisted artists will be invited for interviews as part of the Foundwork Dialogues program to further public engagement with their practices. Learn more.

Artist Residency The Dry Tortuga National Park Artist in Residence Program is currently accepting applications for a one- month artist residency and $4,000 stipend. The residency is open to artists across all disciplines and takes place in a historic lighthouse keepers house on Loggerhead Key, an islet in the Florida Keys. Learn more.

Native Craft Readiness Program The Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM), in partnership with Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), announces the launch of the Native Craft Artist Readiness Program (NCARP), a six-month program that provides training, resources, and financial support to build sustainable craft art business practices. Craft artists are defined as people who produce hand-crafted objects such as pottery, baskets, jewelry, beadwork, quilts, and other items. Participating artists, selected through a national application process, will receive online training and access to a network of coaches, peers, and resources. Artists completing the program will receive up to $10,000 to implement the skills and strategies gained through the program. Learn more.

Community Mural Program Request for proposals are currently being accepted for the Walmart Community Mural Program. Selected artists paid compensation. BIPOC Curatorial Program The New Art Center is looking for curatorial proposals for an exhibition to be included in our BIPOC Series hosted at our gallery: New Art Corridor, a public space with 24 hour access outfitted with security cameras. The gallery has a 12ft, 16ft, and 36ft wall – all equipped with a track system including rods and security hooks for hanging. It also includes a large TV to display digital media / virtual galleries. All mediums are welcomed! Curators are offered a $1,000 curatorial honorarium. Learn more.
