Art for Social Justice Grants Cambridge Arts support projects that present the themes and ongoing work of social justice to the Cambridge public through the arts. They invite individuals and organizations to apply for grants of $7,500 each for projects that creatively advance social justice and strengthen a sense of place wherever the project occurs. It’s one of three funding opportunities in their 2021-2022 grant cycle: Art for Social Justice Grants, Local Cultural Council Grants, and Organizational Investment Grants. Call for Artists The Watertown Art Association and The TILL Wave Gallery have a call to artists for the exhibition Awaking the Artist Within (November 4, 2021 – January 8, 2022, Opening Reception: November 4, 2021 4pm-7pm). Mass Cultural Council Choreography, Poetry, and Traditional Artist Fellowships The Artist Fellowships are unrestricted awards in recognition of exceptional creative work by Massachusetts artists. This year, Mass Cultural Council is committing over $1 million to the Artist Fellowships, with the goal of doubling the artists funded through the program. The Fellowship grants are $15,000. Worcester Youth Poets Applications Open for City of Worcester’s Youth Poet Laureate Program. This call to literary artists seeks poets ages 13-19 who have a significant connection to the Worcester community. The Youth Poet Laureate will receive an annual honorarium of $500 and a one-time $2,500 scholarship during their two-year term, from January 2022 through December 2023. Learn more.

Literature Fellowships: Translation Projects Support for the translation of works of prose, poetry, or drama into English. Through fellowships to published translators, the National Endowment for the Arts supports projects for the translation of specific works of prose, poetry, or drama from other languages into English.Grants are up to $25,000.
