Of Note: The Mass Cultural Council Choreography, Poetry, and Traditional Artist Fellowships applications now available. The Artist Fellowships are unrestricted awards to in recognition of exceptional creative work by Massachusetts artists. This year, Mass Cultural Council is committing over $1 million to the Artist Fellowships, with the goal of doubling the artists funded through the program. The Fellowship grants are $15,000. Boston-based LGBTQIA+ filmmakers The BLAA x Coolidge Corner Theatre screening program is open to any and all Boston-based LGBTQIA+ filmmakers. This series intends to support Boston’s queer film artists by fostering a critical audience and creating an informal network of creative peers. This screening program is community- and submission-driven. One submission per participant. In-progress works are more than welcome. All screenings will be open to the general public. The ACA Offsite Exhibit Program is an artist bank that the ACA manages and presents to our local partners annually, and arranges exhibitions of selected artists work in these spaces for 3-6 months at a time. Creative Change-Makers Creative Community Fellows New England connects 25 creative change-makers across New England to a network of accountability to help take their work to the next level. Over ten months, Fellows will take online courses; come together both online and in person; meet with leading mentors; and have access to a $10,000 stipend for project costs, travel, and other program expenses. Upon completing the program, Fellows gain access to the NAS Community Hub to connect and collaborate with nearly 300 Creative Community Fellows alumni and 1,000 other arts and culture leaders.
