Writer-in-Residence Program The Associates of the Boston Public Library is accepting applications to the 2021-2022 Writer-in-Residence fellowship program. In celebration of the Associates’ 50th anniversary, TWO residencies will be offered this year – a Writer-in-Residence and Writer/Illustrator-in-Residence. Projects eligible for this program include fiction, non-fiction, a script, poetry, or graphic novels intended for children or young adults. Learn more.

Call to Sculptors The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center in West Rutland, VT, is pleased to announce that SculptFest (not held in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions) will return to the CSSC this September 11-October 24. Poets Entries are currently being accepted for the Experimental Poetry Prize, a cutting-edge contest sponsored by the Connecticut Poetry Society. Winner will receive $1,000 and publication in the Connecticut River Review. Submit up to 3 poems. Submissions may include poems composed using 1) an entirely new form; 2) an existing form that is considered experimental; or 3) a radical subversion of a traditional form. Your innovation should be apparent to a serious but non-academically trained reader and should be in the service of ingenuity and piercing the armor of expectations. Artist Funding The Artist’s Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Fund is currently accepting applications. Artist’s Resource Trust was established in 1996 to provide support to the creative work of mid-career (aged 35 and older) visual artists who have demonstrated substantial commitment, development and quality in their work. A.R.T.’s focus is on visual artists who live in New England (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) and in the towns in NY that are part of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation’s catchment area as of 2015. Call to Artists The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites artists to submit work for our in gallery exhibition In Color. In Color seeks work where the interplay with color is the central focus. Whether the artwork is riddled with vibrant color or if it’s just one color that stands out and makes the piece, color is the subject for this call.
