A bit of good news! There is an inaugural exhibition of a brand-new collaborative fiber art group based in Massachusetts: North Adams Fiber Artists (NAFA).
This exhibition at the Eclipse Mill Gallery in North Adams will not only present the work of NAFA’s members, but also increase public awareness and appreciation of the fiber arts in a vibrant creative community that is home to the largest contemporary art museum in the country, MASS MoCA.
North Adams Fiber Artists (NAFA) was formed in March 2018 by a group of artists working in diverse fiber mediums in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts and the surrounding region. Besides presenting exhibitions, the group will engage in networking and sharing of professional resources, entrepreneurship and studio skills, creative inspiration, studio and museum visits, and growth of their individual studio practices through these activities.
