Professional Development for Public Artists The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) has extended the deadline for applications to The Public Art Learning Fund. The Fund provides grants of $500 to $2,000 to support professional development opportunities for New England artists to strengthen their public art practices. Through the Public Art Learning Fund, NEFA intends to foster the continued development of more equitable, inclusive, and vibrant public spaces and public life throughout New England. Learn more.

Artist Grants The Harpo Foundation is accepting applications for their 2020 grant for artists for awards of up to $10,000. Creativity and Learning Liz Lerman (choreographer, performer, writer, educator and speaker, and the recipient of honors including a 2002 MacArthur “Genius Grant”, a 2011 United States Artists Ford Fellowship in Dance, and the 2017 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award) has her Atlas of Creative Tools which is imagined as a digital commons for dancemakers and other creators available to all. This ten hour course is free.
Youth Music Program Fund The Lewis Prize for Music has launched a $1 million COVID-19 Community Response Fund for Creative Youth Development leaders and youth music programs to support their responsive and adaptive efforts during COVID-19. This fund will distribute over 20 grants of $25,000 to $50,000 to youth-serving music programs

Emergency Grant for Northampton, Florence, Leeds Artists COVID-19 Artist Relief from The Northampton Arts Council for artists in Northampton, Florence or Leeds. To apply for this grant, an applicant must be an individual artist working in any artistic discipline, an individual teaching artist who promotes education in the arts to people of any age, an arts organizer who has facilitated a public project, program or exhibition in Northampton, Florence or Leeds in the past three years. An applicant is experiencing a loss of income that is impacting their livelihood and/or ability to carry out their artistic and programmatic mission. Learn more.

Virtual International Art Exchange TransCultural Exchange has issued a call to artists to participate in a free, virtual, international art exchange, called Hello World. Through its conferences and other projects, TransCultural Exchange has been encouraging international collaboration and exchange of ideas for many years.
