Poets Entries are currently being accepted for the Anna Rabinowitz Poetry Prize. The prize is awarded to poets and their collaborators for venturesome, interdisciplinary work that combines poetry and any other discipline. Work that qualifies includes but is not limited to books that blend visual art and poetry, original performances of dance and poetry (or dance based on poetry ) and of music and poetry (including libretti based on poetry) as well as more eclectic collaborations involving poetry and technology, the sciences or math. Poets Tupelo Press is accepting entries for their Dorset Prize which includes an award of $3,000 and publication for a poetry collection. Call to Collage Artists The Kolaj Institute is currently accepting applications for the Collage Artist Lab at Tulane University Special Collections in New Orleans, Louisiana which will take place from Friday, 3 April through Monday, 6 April 2020. Writers The Ellen Meloy Fund for Desert Writers grants one $5,000 award in the spring of each year. Only proposals for literary or creative nonfiction book projects will be considered. No fiction or poetry proposals will be reviewed. The Fund supports writing that combines an engaging individual voice, literary sensibility, imagination and intellectual rigor to bring new perspectives and deeper meaning to the body of desert literature. New England Nonfiction Filmmakers LEF New England is now accepting submissions for Moving Image Fund grants from New England-based filmmakers making feature-length (40+ minute) non-fiction film projects. 4-6 production grants of $15,000 will be awarded and 3 post-production grants of $25,000 will be awarded (post-production is only open to projects that have received prior LEF funding). Also, Boston-area finalists for LEF Moving Image Fund production and post-production grants will be eligible to apply for the Harvard Film Study Center – LEF Foundation Fellowship, which offers access to the Film Study Center’s pool of production and post-production equipment, the opportunity to participate in the Harvard FSC community through work-in-progress screenings, workshops, and other activities, and a $10,000 grant over the course of the 2020-2021 academic year.
