Documentary Filmmakers Production Grants The International Documentary Association (IDA) Enterprise Documentary Fund provides production funds to feature-length documentary films taking on in-depth explorations of original, contemporary stories and integrating journalistic practice into the filmmaking process. In addition to funds, grantees will receive additional resources and expertise tailored to the needs of the project. Inclusion and diversity, both in terms of the filmmaking team and subject matter, are a priority of the fund. Learn more.

Call for Photographs and Photo-based Works The Old North Church & Historic Site is accepting entries for the exhibition Rally Point: Bravery + Action (May 17 – July 15, 2019) to be on display in its community gallery space Patriots Corner. Submitted works should explore how teamwork, collective action, and fellowship can promote active citizenship, or more broadly, the concepts of community and courage. With this exhibit, Old North, a national landmark visited by over 200,000 people per year, seeks to investigate what teamwork and courage look like in the 21st century. Short Stories Glimmer Train is seeking stories of up to 12,000 words from emerging writers for their Short Story Award for New Writers. Open to writers whose fiction has not appeared, nor is scheduled to appear, in any print publication with a circulation over 5000. Call to Artists The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is accepting entries to the exhibit Color My World: An Exhibit Of Work That Uses Color to Engage, Excite, Inspire (June 5-30, 2019). Artists worldwide are invited to submit work that uses color to great effect BUT DOES NOT DEPICT FLOWERS. For four days during the Color My World exhibit, the Garden Club of Hyannis, Massachusetts will display floral arrangements and designs inspired by the artwork, so the exhibit itself should NOT include depictions of flowers.
