Call to Artists Entries for the Small Stones Festival of the Arts, are accepted beginning August 15, 2021. Artists and photographers are invited to submit original artwork for acceptance to this juries exhibition. Categories include Fine Arts Photography and Fine Art Painting & Drawing. Each category prizes include: First: $500; Second: $250; and Third: $100. Six jurors will select prizewinners among the accepted entries. Learn more.

Creative Change-Makers Creative Community Fellows New England connects twenty-five creative change-makers across New England to be part of something bigger, creating a network of accountability to help take their work to the next level. Over ten months, Fellows will take online courses; come together both online and in person, including five days of learning and living together in an incubator-like environment; meet with leaders in the field who serve as mentors; and have access to a $10,000 stipend for support of project costs, travel, and other program expenses. Artist Residency Applications for the Artist Residency Program at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center in New York Mills, MN are now being accepted. The residency program is open to artists of all disciplines; writers, poets, playwrights, visual artists, musicians and dancers, and offers time and space to create without distraction. Artists are responsible for their own transportation to and from New York Mills MN and food while in residence. The Cultural Center provides a one bedroom home, all linens, dishes etc. The Center requests that artists perform an outreach project, usually within the schools. Learn more.

Public Artists Public Art for Spatial Justice grants support Massachusetts artists and artistic collaborations to create public art in Massachusetts that fosters public imagination and contributes to more just futures for our public spaces and public culture. These grants may or may not support the outcomes of a Collective Imagination for Spatial Justice grant. Public Art for Spatial Justice grants range from $5,000-$15,000. Learn more.

Artist-in-Residence The Follow Your Art Community Studios in Melrose is accepting applications for the 2022 Foundation Trust Artist-in-Residence program. Recipients are provided with a studio space at FYACS, as well as a materials, stipend, and a solo exhibition of their work at the gallery of the Greater Boston Stage Company in Stoneham, MA.
