Call for Music Collaborator Articine is seeking submissions for a music collaborator for their new one-act physical theater work, The Anxiety Piece, set to premiere August of 2022. Articine is open to collaborators working in any genre or style of music. In the past, we have enjoyed working with composers and instrumentalists specializing in electronic, acoustic and orchestral music. Rehearsals begin March 2022 and the premiere is currently set for August 26, 2022. Collaboration could be either remote or in-person. Stipend available is $3000. Learn more.

ACRE Summer Artist Residency Program The ACRE Residency Program takes place every summer in rural Southwest Wisconsin. Developed as a means to support emerging visual artists, sound artists, musicians, performers, writers, and curators, the program provides artists with the opportunity to expand upon their individual practices as well as take part in optional programming within a collaborative community. Traditional Arts Apprenticeships Apprenticeships are a time-honored method by which an individual learns skills, techniques, and artistry under the guidance of a recognized mentor. Since its founding in 2001, Mass Cultural Council’s Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program, now accepting applications, has funded 88 apprenticeships in a vast array of traditions, both old and new to Massachusetts. Recent Mass Cultural Council-funded apprenticeships include mentorships in traditional wampum art, Indian tabla, Ottoman/Turkish makam, Cambodian traditional ornamentation, wooden boatbuilding and restoration, and Music of Epirus on violin. Call For Art Call to participate in the Musketaquid Earth Month Exhibit, a non-juried show which will run in The Umbrella Arts Center gallery from April 6 through April 23, 2022. Theme: “Stories from the Earth”. Submissions may be in any artistic medium: drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, multi-media, poetry, song, photography, video, dance, or performance.
