Carrie Gustafson will be among the artists and artisans participating in Greylocks WORKS 2017 Festive! event in North Adams (11/18).
Jennifer Hilton has work in the biennial exhibition From These Hills: Contemporary Art in the Southern Appalachian Highlands at the William King Museum of Art in Virginia (thru 2/11).

Mary Bucci McCoy has a solo exhibition, By Way of Blue, at the Glen Urquhart School Johnson Gallery in Beverly (thru 12/15).
Anne Neely has a solo exhibition, Hidden in Plain Sight, curated by Sarah Sze, at Cue Art Foundation in New York City (11/2-12/16, opening reception 11/2, 6-8 PM).
Dean Nimmer curated and is exhibiting in Uncommon Goods – String Holders, at the Race Street Gallery in Holyoke (11/18-12/17, opening reception 11/18, 5-8 PM). Over 30 artists are participating in the show, which uses a utilitarian tool – the string holder – as a launching point for paintings, drawings, sculptures, and more.
Bob Oppenheim has a solo show, Splitz, at Howard Yezerski Gallery (thru 11/14, opening reception 11/3, 5:30-8 PM).
Dave Ortega has completed the fourth issue of his comic Dias de Consuelo as well as a new zine, Dichos 2. Both works will officially debut at Comic Arts Brooklyn (11/11).

Monica Raymond‘s short play At St. Wilding’s will have a reading as part of a program of new short plays at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education’s Spiegel Auditorium (11/18, 7 PM).
Jay Rogers has a solo exhibition, Fantasy Architecture: Sculptural Boxes by Jay Rogers, at The Society of Arts + Crafts (thru 1/6/2018).
Jo Ann Rothschild is exhibiting in The Immediacy of Abstraction at Art Complex in Duxbury (11/12-2/18, reception 11/12, 1:30-3:30 PM).
Evelyn Rydz, along with winning a Brother Thomas Fellowship (see above), has work at the Henricks Art Wall, in the new Science and Engineering Complex at Tufts University. Her ongoing project Salty> Sour Seas at the ICA’s Art Lab (through 3/11).
Pat Shannon has work in the 25th Drawing Show, The Gig Economy: Depictions of Life and Responses to Work in the Digital Bazaar at the Boston Center for the Arts Mills Gallery (thru 1/7).
Tracy Heather Strain‘s Lorraine Hansberry documentary Sighted Eyes/Feeling Heart has its New York City premiere as part of Doc NYC (School of Visual Arts Theatre, 11/11, 11:30 AM).
Mara Superior has an exhibition, Porcelain Stories, at Gravers Lane Gallery in Philadelphia (thru 11/20, reception 11/12, 1-4 PM).
Naoe Suzuki has a solo exhibition, Dreamcatchers, at the Cambridge School of Weston art gallery (thru 12/20, gallery talk 11/18, 1-2 PM). The exhibition marks the final step of a three-part project stemming from her artist residency at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Also, her ongoing project and participatory installation Flow is included in Of Land and Local at Burlington City Arts in VT (thru 1/7).
Nora Valdez has a solo exhibition, Immigration Nation II, at Boston Sculptors Gallery (11/8-12/10, opening reception 11/10, 6-8 PM).
