Call to Artists Artists and photographers are invited to submit original artwork for acceptance to the Small Stones Festival of the Arts, a juried art show . Categories include Fine Arts Photography and Fine Art Painting & Drawing. Each category prizes include: First: $500; Second: $250; and Third: $100. Greater Boston-based Artists The N+T Public Art Accelerator exists to support early-to-mid-career Greater Boston-based artists who demonstrate need and interest in creating object-based works in Boston’s neighborhoods with the skills (e.g., budgeting, project management) and sensibilities (e.g., consensus-building, empathy, ability to communicate a vision and involve others clearly) to succeed in the dynamic field of public art. Cohort-model workshops support the development of these skills. Four artists will be selected to participate in approximately 14 workshops led by N+T’s Executive Director, Curator, Community Partnership Manager, and Curatorial Fellow, alongside racially diverse workshop instructors selected for their range of experience and expertise. Selected artists receive $1,500 to participate in workshops while developing a project proposal to present for $25,000 in project funding. Learn more.

Small Business Survey The Coalition for an Equitable Economy, MassINC Polling Group and Mass Growth Capital Corporation are partnering to conduct an important statewide survey about the issues impacting small businesses in Massachusetts. The purpose of the poll is to assess the current needs of small businesses (especially businesses of color) to identify service and resource gaps they face and to inform short-term and long-term programs and policies amongst the sponsoring organizations and more broadly. This poll is intended to be statewide and will be available for the benefit of all participating organizations. To boost participation, they are providing a gift card incentive:· They are raffling twenty gift cards in amounts of $250, $500, and $1,000 for respondents that provide an email and phone number. They invite you to participate in the Coalition for an Equitable Economy, MassINC Polling Group and MGCC Statewide Small Business Survey outreach. It is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and Mandarin.
