Call to Artists Montserrat College of Art is accepting proposals for installations, murals, and exhibitions at their 301 Cabot Street building. They have two window-front galleries (Side A and Side B), both roughly 8X16’. Artists will be shown in roughly one-month cycles. Selected artists will be awarded a $500 honorarium for the completion of their project and participation in a public Virtual-Visiting Artist talk. They are interested in all visual media and encourage projects that push boundaries and challenge the space. Artists will be expected to work independently, provide all their own supplies, tools, display implements, and install/de-install according to schedule. Accepted artists will receive: $500 honorarium; exhibition space for roughly one month; website hosted on Montserrat.edu; media coverage; a recorded Visiting Artist talk. Submissions will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis. They encourage artists to apply as soon as they have a concept.

Call for Small Work Stories Artists are invited to participate in the Small Works Project with Mo Willems. For 50 weekdays beginning August 24, they will spotlight one Small Work Story and pair it with an original small artwork by Mo Willems. Call to Artists The Foundry Art Centre in Saint Charles, Missouri is seeking submissions for Paperworks VII, a paper-centric exhibition that will focus on how paper can be utilized in art. Last held at the Foundry in 2013, this juried exhibition is open to all artists who utilize paper as an integral component of expression. They want to ask artists how they push this ancient, tactile experience of using paper to create book arts, sculptures, and other forms of fine art. Call to Artists Beard and Weil Galleries at Wheaton College invite artists to submit to Postcards from the Pandemic, an exhibition of responses to COVID-19.
