Webinars with Arts Administrators Arts Administration Association New England is holding a series of “Sip and Chat” webinars with arts administrators from the region. Artists and Creatives of Color in Boston Radical Imagination for Racial Justice is a new regranting program made possible by the Surdna Foundation to Massachusetts College of Art and Design and the City of Boston in the amount of $1.2 million. This regranting initiative will span three years and supports artists and creatives of color who live and/or work in Boston, by distributing funds to those seeking to advance racial justice through collaborative projects in their communities. Artists, creatives, or cultural organizers who identify as ALAANA+ (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab or Native American), who are at least 14 years of age and live or work in Boston are invited to apply. Documentary Filmmakers The Documentary Impact Producer Relief Fund will provide grants of up to $4,000 to help alleviate the acute hardships faced by freelance impact producers working anywhere in the world in this time of economic uncertainty. Filmmakers The Vilcek Foundation currently seeks young foreign-born applicants for the 2021 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Filmmaking. Three winners will each receive a $50,000 unrestricted cash prize and a comprehensive promotional campaign to honor their career and achievements. Learn more.

Artist Relief To support artists during the COVID-19 crisis, a coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States. Artist Relief – Cycle III will distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19; serve as an ongoing informational resource; and co-launch the COVID-19 Impact Survey for Artists and Creative Workers, designed by Americans for the Arts, to better identify and address the needs of artists.
