Webinars with Arts Administrators Arts Administration Association New England is holding a series of “Sip and Chat” webinars with arts administrators from the region. Public Art Grants New grant opportunity from the New England Foundation for the arts for Massachusetts artists, creatives, culture bearers, cultural organizers, and community-based collaborators. The Collective Imagination for Spatial Justice and Public Art for Spatial Justice grants support teams of artists, creatives, culture bearers, cultural organizers, and/or community-based collaborators to do the important work of imagining public art that fosters and contributes to more just futures for our public spaces and public culture. Emergency Grants for Artists Artist Relief will distribute its next round of $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19. Learn more.

Call to Artists The 2021 HBI Artist Program provides an artist the opportunity to publish a printed exhibition catalog and have an online solo exhibition for 12 weeks under the auspices of the Kniznick Gallery at Brandeis University. The selected artist is awarded a $2000 exhibition stipend and a $500 honorarium to produce two virtual public programs during the exhibition. The online exhibition and public programs will run from March–June 2021. Learn more.

Call to Artists The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites artists to submit work for their online exhibition Abstractions. All winners will be displayed in their online gallery. Abstractions seeks artwork that marries color, shape, pattern, texture, and imagination for work that is independent of our visual reality. Open to all fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video. Learn more.

Call to Artists Entries are currently being accepted for the Monmouth Museum’s 42nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition. They are accepting artwork of all media and styles to feature in their Main Gallery and will be continuing their tradition of showcasing diverse and international art. 2020 Census The Census Bureau has abruptly decided to cut their national counting operations a month short. The last day to participate in the U.S. 2020 Federal Census is now September 30, formerly October 31. Fill out the Census as soon as possible if you haven’t already. You can self-respond online (my2020census.gov), or by phone 844-330-2020, and these services are available in 13 different languages. Make your voice count in the 2020 Census. You matter!
