Printmakers Ann Street Gallery invites all North American artists to participate in Bon Marche affordable printmaking exhibition. All works must be for sale and priced under $200.00. Prints utilizing traditional, hand-pulled media, including hybrid works combining hand-pulled techniques with new media forms. Prints must be unframed and can be of any size. Mediums such as woodcut, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, etchings, monoprints, collographs and photopolymer prints are eligible. 3D Prints and prints that push beyond the conventional boundaries, employing alternative display methods, will be considered. Public Artists The Art Selection Committee of the Gertrude Howes Park Civil Rights Public Art Tribute project in Boston invites artists, also in collaboration with landscape designers, to forward public art qualifications for an innovative, permanent public art installation that will serve as a tribute to civil rights. The tribute is envisioned to be an abstract work of public art dedicated to the movement rather than a representation dedicated to individual persons or events. The selection process will lead to the identification of four artists/teams who will develop initial proposals for a $2,500 honorarium each for initial concept development and presentations. Call to Artists Calling artists in all mediums for 413Heart as part of the Grow Dalton Music and Arts Festival – a three-day festival in Dalton, Massachusetts taking place August 18th through August 20th, 2017. The art show will be held at the Stationery Factory in Dalton, MA on Saturday and Sunday. Selected artists are responsible for booth set up on Friday and must be present during the entire show. Boston Area Artists of Color The CreateWell Fund invests in artists of color in the greater Boston community who demonstrate financial need. The CreateWell Fund will provide project- and goal-based, fiscal support to two to four individuals who accomplish both of the following: creating a new original art project honoring one’s authentic artistry achieving a realistic wellness goal tending to a critical aspect of one’s well-being.They will award two to four artists $1200 up to $6000, for projects lasting up to one-year in duration. Printmakers Mentorship Program Zea Mays Printmaking is currently accepting applications for their Artist Mentorship Program. he Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) pairs each participating artist with a Zea Mays Printmaking faculty mentor. Working closely together on a self-designed course, the mentor is there to guide the artist through technical and conceptual challenges, helping refine the artist’s eye and skill.
