Craft Artist Residency The Craft Alliance’s Artists-in-Residence program encourages emerging and mid-career artists by providing them a workspace free-of-charge, access to a built-in audience and an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work. Residencies in clay, metals and fibers are currently available for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, beginning in June 2013. Learn more.

10 x 10 Smartphone Film Festival The Berkshire International Film Festival and the Beacon Cinema invite artists to submit entries for the 10 X 10 Smartphone Film Festival, sponsored by Mad Macs, part of the this year’s 10 x 10 Upstreet Winter Arts Festival slated for Feb. 14-24, 2013 in Pittsfield, MA. Call for Performers and Artists The American Repertory Theater and Outside The Box invites artists to participate in their inaugural Outside The Box festival. The Express Stage is a juried and curated performance venue that will be located on the Boston Common as part of the Outside The Box festival. The Express Stage will have approximately 300 seats that will run for 10 consecutive days from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Express Stage will feature work in the area of theatre, dance, music, live-art, experimental performance, puppetry, new visions of contemporary plays, interpretations of classics and all forms of hybrid performance. Printmaking Entries are now being accepted for Plate to Paper: The Art of Printmaking at the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, New Jersey, March 10 – April 28, 2013. The Museum will consider the following printmaking media: monotype, monoprint, lithography, silk screen, woodcut/block, linocut, etching, engraving, drypoint, limited edition signed and numbered giclees and offset reproductions, handmade books and three-dimensional work that include any of the above printmaking media.
