Call for Video Wall Art Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and Boston Cyberarts is issuing its second call for media art for display on the video wall inside the front entrance of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. This is a 160 foot long screen providing full-motion video. Awards include a $500 honorarium. Selection of work is based foremost upon artistic excellence. They are particularly interested in works that push the limits of the Video Wall as a display platform while also creating dynamic engaging content for the public. Learn more.

Grants for Boston Choreographers The Boston Foundation is offering grants aimed to support Greater Boston choreographers creating original work in any dance genre and at any career level, post-college, to move forward and take a “next step” in their careers by providing artists with the following: 250 hours of flexible rehearsal space over 18 months; 6 consulting meetings with expert advisors in chosen areas of need and/or interest to the artist including artistic, organizational, technical, marketing and communication, or strategic/business planning; $5,000 in implementation funds to create or complete a project or take a “next step” in work or career; a series of cohort meetings to connect choreographers, build relationships and allow for co-learning.
