Grant for Women Cinematographer The Digital Bolex Grant for Women Cinematographers offers approximately $10,000 worth of gear and accessories loaned on a rolling basis to any narrative short, music video, or feature film project to be shot by a female cinematographer. Call to Artists Request for Proposals: A Fort Point Arts Community Exhibition at the Gallery at Atlantic Wharf, 290 Congress Street, Boston. Inter-dimensional Ports of Whatsoever, curated by Anabel Vázquez Rodríguez. We are witnesses of our changing histories throughout the globe. Relocation and migration experiences inform who we are and how we see the world. The places that we have called home and the new experiences these locations bring reveal personal truths. There is a place which lies in-between the old and the new; expanding our visions and sense of placement. New perspectives and dimensions are brought into our lives through this lens of personal truth. Artists are encouraged to submit work for inter-dimensional ports of whatsoever that convey ideas of personal transformation and related trajectories with emphasis on galactic, historical and/or current social frameworks. Works may be inspired by science fiction and/or spiritual and physical evolutions with historical references and/or imagery. Relocation and migration related to current events that include social injustices and victories can also be a point of departure. Public Art The Art Selection Committee of the Stanley A. Ringer Park memorials project invites artists and landscape designers to forward public art qualifications for one or several transformative, permanent public art installations that will serve as a tribute to four cherished community members inside Ringer Park. The proposed memorials project will honor Stanley A. Ringer, William Margolin, Brian Honan and Dawnn Jaffier. The project is intended to contribute to the safety of Stanley A. Ringer Park while recognizing the civic and community contributions of the honorees. A number of potential sites have been identified within Ringer Park, a 12.38-acre park located in the heart of the Allston-Brighton neighborhoods of Boston. Final sites and specific tributes will be determined during the art selection process. The selection process will lead to the identification of one or several artists/teams who will develop one or several concepts for one or several sites.
