Call for Art The Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery is currently accepting entries for Take Me Out to the Ball Game, Fenway@100, a group exhibition of Boston-area artists & collectors. Art work is sought in most mediums (photography, paintings, prints, drawings, cartoons, videos, sculpture) created by artist from the Massachusetts and border regions with a particular emphasis on the Boston area. Collectors of Red Sox, Baseball and Fenway Park ephemera (autographs, baseball gear, Fenway salvages, pennants, programs, yearbooks,etc.) are encouraged to loan work for display during this exhibit of original artwork. Poets The $100,000 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award is given annually to honor a book of poetry by a mid-career U.S. poet. The winner spends one week in residence at Claremont Graduate University in California. Fiction and Poetry University of Massachusetts Press is now accepting entries for two prizes of $1,500 each and publication for a poetry collection and a book of fiction. For this year’s Juniper prizes, poets who have published at least one book-length poetry collection may submit a manuscript of 50 to 70 pages; fiction writers may submit a short story collection, a novel, or a novella of 150 to 350 pages.
