Arts and Culture Leaders of Color Emergency Fund This fund is for US-based BIPOC artists and administrators. This is a one-time micro grant of $200. Creatives practicing and teaching their art as well as the administrators who are supporting that art can apply. They disburse funds in the amount of US $200 per person, on a first-come-first-served basis. Learn more.
Call to New England Artists Beacon Gallery is producing a one-night-only event to directly provide support to visual artists from sales of their work. Beacon Gallery Director Christine O’Donnell is hosting a juried exhibition of small works called Art Dash on December 19, 2020, where artists will receive 100% of the sales. All work will be priced at $100 each. This is a true pop-up event with a preview during the day from 12-6pm and sales beginning promptly after. Artist Emergency Relief Grant Artist Relief is an emergency initiative organized by the Academy of American Poets, Artadia, Creative Capital, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, MAP Fund, National YoungArts Foundation, and United States Artists—all mid-sized national arts grantmakers that have come together in this unprecedented moment—to distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19. Dial-A-Lawyer attorney volunteers are in good standing and have a wide variety of legal experience. Currier Museum of Art Artist Residency The Currier Museum of Art invites applications for a new social practice artist residency, Artists in the Community, for a residency period beginning in late winter/early spring 2021. The residency program is central to the Currier Museum’s mission of connecting audiences with art and creative thinking. Applicants must demonstrate a history of social engagement in their artmaking practice and production. Successful applicants will develop an innovative project with tangible outcomes that align with the tenets of their own practice, the mission of the museum, and the needs of the community partner(s) with whom they .will collaborate.
