Digital Shorts on the Latinx Experience PBS is accepting Requests for Proposals for a two hour presentation of shorts that explore Latino/a/x identity in the contemporary United States. They are soliciting concepts, as well as finished shorts or shorts in progress, to be collected into 2 one-hour Primetime specials to be broadcast on PBS stations nationwide in summer 2021. Judged by a jury of experienced filmmakers, the best submissions are eligible for support grants between $5,000 and $25,000. Final judging will select between 8-12 shorts for national broadcast in June 2021, with additional films selected by the jury to appear online as part of the PBS Short Film Festival. Learn more.

Media Makers Black Public Media invites independent producers of broadcast and digital projects centered on the Black experience to apply to its 360 Incubator+ program. Call to Artists The Monmouth Museum is currently accepting entries for their 42 annual juried exhibition. They are accepting artwork of all media and styles to feature in their Main Gallery and will be continuing their tradition of showcasing diverse and international art. They are also advancing their goal of focusing on the underrepresented in the arts and providing a platform for a broad group of artists. The Monmouth Museum’s goal is to engage artists and the community in promoting inclusivity of gender, age, background, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and special needs. Artist’s Book Residency Women’s Studio Workshop is offering an Artist’s Book Residency. Over the course of six-to-eight weeks, artists will print and bind their own limited edition book work.
