Craft Artists The Fuller Craft Museum has extended their entry deadline for the 2022 Craft Biennial, an exhibition celebrating the diversity of talents in the museum’s diverse audience. This biennial exhibition is an important opportunity for young, mid-career, and veteran artists to exhibit their work to the Fuller Craft Museum community. Artists both inside and outside of New England have participated in the past, showcasing stunning works of ceramics, glassware, furniture, textiles, basketry, woodturning, jewelry, and other craft-based media. GBH Kids Scriptwriting Fellowship The GBH Kids Scriptwriting Fellowship is a program designed to mentor early-career writers who are members of underrepresented groups in the children’s media industry (including but not limited to individuals of African American, Asian, Latinx/Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander descent) in writing scripts for a GBH KIDS animated series focused on STEM learning. Dance Fellowships Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance has announced a new round of Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists (DFA), their national program that offers direct support to individual artists who have a sustained and intentional practice of working through dance or movement-based modalities to address social change. DFA will award 30 Fellowships of a minimum of $30,000 per artist by August of 2022. Artists are invited to submit a Letter of Inquiry. Learn more.

Photography Grants Innovate Grant awards two $550.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. Chapbooks The Frost Place Annual Chapbook Competition sponsored by Bull City Press is currently accepting submissions. Rajiv Mohabir will judge. The selected winner’s chapbook will be published by Bull City Press. Individual Support Grant The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation Individual Support Grant. The Gottlieb Foundation Individual Support Grant program annually awards $25,000 to visual artists who have been in a mature phase of their art for at least 20 years and who have demonstrated financial need. MacDowell Colony Fellowships The MacDowell Colony nurtures the arts by offering creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which to produce enduring works of the imagination.
