It’s a given that artists are used to freely expressing their opinions through their art. Every decision that goes into the creation of the final piece matters. “Do I like this color, should I remove this passage…” and so on. Voting is another form of expression. You get to decide what matters to you.
So we here at ArtSake encourage all eligible citizens of the commonwealth to vote in the upcoming November elections. Exercising your rights as a citizen at the voting booth matters. It’s what keeps our democracy vibrant and healthy. And unlike other states, absentee voting in Massachusetts is as easy as pie. So if you or someone near and dear to you will be out of town or can’t get to the polls due to a disability or for religious reasons, one can still vote on November 6th.
Massachusetts allows voters to vote by absentee ballot if they
•will be absent from their city or town on election day, and/or
•have a physical disability that prevents their voting at the polling place, and/or
•cannot vote at the polls due to religious beliefs.
