Working with volunteers from the Hawaii Wildlife Fund and the Surfrider Foundation, StudioKCA combed the beaches of Hawaii to gather up the waste. The installation was built out of those finds. StudioKCA seeks this way to draw attention to the universal problem of pollution that affects us all, and to make viewers aware that individual action is necessary.
Call to Artists New Bedford Art Museum/ArtWorks! (NBAM/AW!) is seeking artists to have their artwork showcased in our Annual Members Exhibit, November 2, 2018 –March 17, 2019. This year, the Members Exhibition is taking over their main gallery – Skylight Gallery! Large works and installations are encouraged. In previous years the exhibition was held in our Heritage Gallery where only 20 works were admitted into the exhibition. This year about 40 – 50 works will be accepted. Learn more.

Exhibition Opportunity The Burnett Gallery at the Jones Library in Amherst, MA, has monthly exhibits which display the work of community artists and crafts people, who exhibit a variety of media, styles, and viewpoints, and levels of artistic experience. Dance Artists Funds The Eva Yaa Asantewaa Grant for Queer Women(+) Dance Artists supports new cutting-edge dance and movement-based performance work by self-identified women, gender-nonconforming, and non-binary artists.
