Of Note: Assets for Artists is offering free professional development workshops for Massachusetts-based creative entrepreneurs. Sarah Platanitis will teach the workshop Get Press Ready: PR for Artists on April 25 (in Lawrence) and May 2 (in North Adams). Jessica Burko teaches Finding your Message: Branding and Marketing for Visual Artists (in North Adams) on April 9 with select artists participating on April 10 as well. Call for Artists The Dedham Square Artist Guild is currently accepting entries for their exhibition Casting Shadows (May 1, 2015 to June 30, 2015). Art Exploring Consumerism SIPMA Contemporary has issued a call to artists for I Live Here Now at The Cohen Gallery at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA. Art exploring communitarianism, the notion of luxury, globalization and displacement, and other topics related to consumerism are encouraged to submit. All media encouraged.
