Exhibition Proposals The Abigail Ogilvy Gallery is currently accepting proposals for a February 2018 exhibition. The gallery is seeking innovative proposals from artists, curators and collectives. Proposals for both 2- and 3-dimensional media for solo and/or group shows are welcomed. Abigail Ogilvy Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Boston’s SoWa Arts and Design District, featuring new work by living artists, both emerging and mid-career, with a focus on work that employs unique process and cultivates meaningful conversation. Cover Art Cultural Center of Cape Cod’s imprint, Bass River Press, is currently seeking cover art for its third annual poetry publication. The winning artwork will be featured on the front cover of Deirdre Callanan’s poetry collection, Water-Dreaming, set to be released in the spring of 2018. Editor Angela Howes and Supervising Editor Lauren Wolk will review all submissions before sending a small group of finalists to Callanan, who will select the winning artwork. Learn more.

Photography The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is currently accepting images for their online photography competition, The Golden Hours. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. All styles of photography will be accepted; film, digital, alternative process, iPhone, etc. Stills only, no video. Choreographers Jacob’s Pillow has announced the launch of a new choreography program, starting next summer. Inspired by the famous Bessie Schönberg workshops from the ’80s and ’90s, the Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellows Program is designed to help eight early-career choreographers (approximately 20–30 years old) refine their voices and expand their networks. The program, August 21–31, will be directed by choreographer Dianne McIntyre and renowned Limón teacher and choreographic advisor Risa Steinberg. The focus will be more on process than product, offering fellows assignments and feedback sessions without expectations for an end product. Learn more.
