Science Fiction, Fantasy Short Film The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), in partnership with the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), announces the launch of the fourteenth annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival. The Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival promotes and encourages an awareness, appreciation and understanding of the art of science fiction and fantasy cinema. Clay Entries are currently being accepted to the exhibition Clay small & mighty, juried by Kensuke Yamada. Open to small scale works primarily made of clay that pack a conceptual or visual punch. Printmakers The International Print Center New York seeks applicants for the New Prints Program. IPCNY’s New Prints Program was created in 2000 to bring selected artists’ prints from the widest possible range of sources to the attention of the viewing public. The exhibitions feature prints in a variety of formats and mediums produced in the preceding twelve months. This immediacy makes every presentation of the New Prints Program unique, because each exhibition is a window into what a wide range of artists are thinking about at a specific moment in time. Playwrights Company One Theatre’s PlayLab provides professional development for playwrights through a combination of personalized dramaturgy, group workshops, and professional development classes. It is an incubator of new work for writers of varied experience levels and backgrounds, with a PlayLab Unit for early career playwrights and the PlayLab Fellows program for experienced playwrights.
