Call to Artists The Harris A. Berman Diversity Gallery, a small gallery space at the corporate office of Tufts Health Plan in Watertown was established to enrich the work environment of their nearly 1600 employees, as well as outside visitors and guests. They are currently looking for artists to fill the space in the coming months. Each show is typically on display for approximately two months. The gallery is not open to the public, but is seen by their 1600 employees every day. Artist Residency Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, in partnership with the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance, is creating an artist-in-residence program for a digital storyteller with photo and video experience. The residency is a yearlong, part-time position with the Fishermen’s Alliance, which involves compiling and editing video from its archive as well as shooting new footage and interviewing current Cape Cod fishermen. It’s an opportunity to build up a portfolio, work with a nonprofit, and tell the story of Cape Cod’s fishermen in an artistic way. Learn more.

Local Cultural Council Program The Mass Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program supports thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually, with nearly half of the $3 million in LCC grants benefiting education.
