Call For Artists Gallery X in New Bedford, MA, is accepting entries for their self portrait exhibition It’s All About ME! (April 3-28). Artists can submit up to 5 pieces of art no larger than four feet by four feet. Work should be ready to hang with wire of proper hanging attachments. Cambridge Artists The 11th annual Cambridge Arts Open Studios will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city-wide event celebrates the creative work of visual and performing artists in Cambridge. Sculptors The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center in West Rutland, VT, invites artists to submit proposals for SculptFest2019, September 7-October 20. The theme for this year’s outdoor exhibition is Changes, guest curated by Bill Wolff, Assistant Professor and Head of the Sculpture area at Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Artists responding are encouraged to think across and between creative disciplines and media, and to pursue metaphors connecting small-scale changes with social, historical, natural and geologic change, and of course, the CSSC and its grounds. Sculptors, installation artists, sound artists, video artists, web-based artists, performance based visual artists, multimedia and other artists are encouraged to submit work to this call.
