While MCC’s ArtistLink Initiative is being re-worked, creative space opportunities that previously would have been listed on artspacefinder.org are going to be shared here on ArtSake.
Here are the most recent as of September 15, 2014:
Artist Spaces for Rent in Former Bradford Public Library
Our building was the former Bradford Public Library, and was built in 1834. It’s in the heart of the historic district, and faces the town common. We’re also off of Route 495, and have convenient off-street parking. We have two spaces available in the building.
The first space is on the ground floor, and it looks like part of a historic tavern – massive ceiling beams, original doors and hinges, and whitewashed exposed brick. It is a very serene and quiet space that evokes the early 1800s. It is about 500 sq.ft. and we are asking $600 for it (excl. utilities). It would be ideal for an art gallery or artist workspace.
The second space is on the top floor, and it is a 3 room suite. Two smaller rooms, and a larger space. The ceilings are higher, and it has exposed framing beams on the wall. The wide-plank wood floors define the space. It is about 800 sq.ft. and we’re asking $800 for this space (excl. utilities).
