Priorities for inclusion for either individual artists or companies include artistic quality, unique programming, solid and successful self-production history. Emerging Writers Fellowships PEN Center USA’s Emerging Voices Fellowships is currently accepting submissions. The seven-month fellowships includes a stipend of $1,000 to emerging poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers who lack access to financial and creative support. Each fellow receives professional mentorship with an established writer in Los Angeles, attends courses at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, and takes part in public readings and other programming throughout the fellowship period. W2W II will focus on the practice, process and benefits of artistic collaboration, especially across disciplines.
