Vico Fabbris (Painting ’06) was selected as a mentor for the Art Institute of Boston Master in Fine Arts in the Visual Arts program.
Jesse Kreitzer‘s (Film & Video Finalist ’09) documentary The Restoration Project screens at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner this month. Also, his TV pilot The Folklorist recently premiered and received two New England Emmy Award nominations for its explorations of the Boston Molasses Flood, the Boston Massacre, and more.
Tara Masih (Fiction/Creative Nonfiction Finalist ’96) is the editor of The Chalk Circle: Intercultural Prizewinning Essays, which is published this month and recently won a 2012 Skipping Stones Honor Award.
Rania Matar‘s (Photography ’11) A Girl in Her Room is published by Umbrage Editions this month – and it’s been featured in Marie Claire, the Huffington Post, CNN photo blog, and elswhere!
The German version of Eric Henry Sanders‘s (Playwriting ’09) play Reservoir transferred from Theatre89 in Berlin to the Mainzer-Kammerspiele in Mainz for a guest run. Also, Eric’s short play “Indebted” was part of Debt at Drilling Company in NYC.
Peter Snoad (Playwriting ’09) was awarded a writing residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He’ll spend the time working on a new multi-media play, The Draft, about the impact of the Vietnam War draft.
