Encaustic Painters Entries are now being accepted for the exhibition The Future of the Past: Encaustic Art in the 21st Century. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Mills Gallery at the Boston Center for the Arts and MassWax, a Massachusetts chapter of International Encaustic Artists.  Learn more.

Call for Group Exhibition Proposals The New Art Center’s curatorial proposal program is currently accepting applications. They encourage all to apply for the opportunity to experiment in a large, unique and alternative space. Their gallery is a converted church with 1,800 sq. ft. and a 25′ vaulted ceiling! They accept proposals involving two or more artists and at least one public presentation. Curators of accepted proposals receive a $1,000 stipend and administrative, installation, marketing & p.r. support. Learn more. Questions:

Painters Chabot Fine Art Gallery and Jerry’s Artarama of Providence RI, are now accepting entries for their regional juried fine art competition Discovering New England. Applicants must be from New England and 18 years and older. Entries must reflect the region’s natural beauty and culture, and must have been completed within the last three years.
