Dance, Theater, Music, Opera, Spoken Word, Performance Art, Circus Arts, Traditional, Folk Performing Arts, Multi-Disciplinary Applications are currently being accepted from performing artists, groups of artists, and small performing arts organizations in the Greater Boston area to apply for funding in support of 2019 projects. The Boston Foundation’s Live Arts Boston (LAB) provides up to $15,000 per project to create, produce or present new work for Greater Boston audiences. Veteran Artists, Non-Veteran Artists To commemorate Veterans Day, the Ann Street Gallery is now accepting submissions for their exhibition Forget Me Not, a meaningful exhibition that honors our American Military Veterans for their contribution of service and sacrifice, while promoting veterans in the arts. They are looking for art work by both veteran artists and non-veteran artists. Topics that may be explored but not limited to are: unique perspectives of war as a shared experience; individually or collectively; personal narratives; anti-war and reflections on service, sacrifice or military culture. Performing Artists Applications are being accepted for the New England States Touring (NEST) Grant (for projects on or after March 1, 2018). NEST grants are awarded through a competitive selection process. Grants are available in amounts of up to 50% of the artists’ fees, and typically range from $400 to $4,000.
