Call to Artists Provincetown’s newest gallery, the Larkin Gallery, is seeking additional artists to feature in its gallery and its sister gallery, the Post Office Gallery. All media considered. Textile Innovators Stonehill College Cushing-Martin Gallery is accepting submissions for a student-curated exhibition. The exhibit theme is a re-interpretation of the landscape through the use of textiles, fabric, and/or materials/techniques such as thread, knitting, and crocheting. Artwork can be any media, and wall-based, sculptural, or site-specific. Artists may submit a specific project proposal that responds to the Stonehill College campus landscape as long as there are prior supporting images included in the submission. Call to Artists The South Yarmouth Library is looking for local artists to display their work on the library’s Art Wall. Every month, one artist has the opportunity to display their work in the library’s public reading room. New Venue for Performers A new performing space has opened in Lee, Massachusetts. The venue is the former St. George’s Church, now called the Spectrum Theatre. The space has state of the art lighting and sound systems, an historic pipe organ and a stage. Suitable for concerts, theatre and musical events of all types. Perfect for an ongoing musical series.
