Artists and Writers Residencies Ox-Bow 2018 Fall Residency Program is currently accepting applications for two, three, and five week Fall residencies in Saugatuck, Michigan. Accepted residents are fully funded. Artists can apply for additional stipends within the application. Ox-Bow’s Artist-in-Residence program offers artists and writers the time, space, and community to encourage growth and experimentation in their practice. Boston Area Dance Makers BDTx, the first annual young choreographer’s showcase sponsored by Boston Dance Theater (BDT), calls for Boston area dance makers, ages 17-25, to submit work for presentation and feedback. Produced by current BDT trainees Kate Dube and Tabitha Hanay-Reaves, BDTx is a platform for constructive response, targeting young makers who wish to build community and gain insight on enhancing creative practice in a new environment. Kate & Tabitha would like to give young choreographers within any genre of dance the opportunity to share work in an informal and supportive setting in the Boston area. They see BDTx as an opportunity to create community within the Boston dance scene. Boston Dance Theater’s Trainee Program is uniquely designed as a rigorous, part-time immersion experience for pre-professional dancers who aspire to join a professional contemporary dance company.
