National Art Strategies (NAS), in partnership with a group of organizations including The Barr Foundation, the New England Foundation for the Arts, and Mass Cultural Council, has announced it is accepting applications from New England residents to be Creative Community Fellows. The program is seeking artists, community organizers, administrators, or entrepreneurs “working on a project to create positive community change through arts and culture and ready to take your project to the next level.”
From the organization’s press release:
Creative Community Fellows brings a group of twenty-five creative change makers across New England together, to be part of something bigger, to learn life-changing skills and to see dreams become reality. Fellows jump-start the program by living and learning together in Vermont for one week in an incubator-like environment building their skills in strategy, leadership, and design thinking.
Along with the week-long retreat, the program features online courses, networking, mentorship, and a collaborative community. Participation by the selected Fellows will be underwritten by the Barr Foundation.
Applications are due April 22, 2018.
